Creating polished and unapologetically bold silhouettes with daring cuts showcasing an innovative approach of contemporary sophistication and modern elegance. 

 

Featuring exquisite beadwork, intricate lacework, delicate embroideries, feathers, and luxurious fabrics. Integrating exotic leather work accessories with these elements to create statement pieces of shoes to bags to clothing.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

 

STORM DORRIS is a Fashion and Accessory Designer, Beauty and Fragrance Product Developer and Marketing Strategist. A member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI). Educated at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA. Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fashion Design. Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Accessory Design. Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Business of Beauty and Fragrance.

In 2010, while studying Fashion Design. He was selected by Dylan Lauren to create a gown created entirely out of candy for her NYC store, Dylan’s Candy Bar. In 2012, his senior thesis collection was chosen to be mentored by Couture Designer Maggie Norris. Learning research and design development, from fabric and trend sourcing to 3-D prototype and sample development.

In 2014, the debut collection Southern Love Story  featured bridal and childrenswear, in honor of his late grandmother, and benefitted the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. In 2015, the collection Unattainable Love Story featured womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear, inspired by mermaid fairytales, also benefitted the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. In 2016, the collection Garden of Opulence featured womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear, inspired by the British Royal Gardens of Tudor era England. The collection was selected for Charleston Fashion Week in March 2016 and went on to debut at NYFW in partnership with AMCONYC in September 2016. In 2017, the collection Rebellious Royal featured womenswear, menswear couture, inspired by the life and aesthetic of Queen Marie Antoinette, was presented in partnership with CCG Consulting at the Atlanta Fashion Showcase which benefitted the charity Street Grace.

In 2018, he began studying Accessory Design. Learning design, patternmaking, and construction for handbags and footwear. In 2018, he also began studying the Business of Beauty and Fragrance. Learning Integrated marketing strategies, New product development, Branding strategies, and Global market development strategies. In 2020, he developed a luxury skincare line for his senior thesis. Made with lavish ingredients from haute cuisine dishes such as caviar, sea kelp, white tea, and rice. Creating a delicacy for the skin. Made to pamper and indulge with the luxury experience one deserves. Embracing aging like the finest of wines only getting better with age. In 2021, he won multiple awards in the International Design Awards 2021 for his his senior thesis collection Ark of Opulence. Winning Gold for Footwear - Evening Shoes and Silver for Accessory - Footwear.
