The Process:
The bespoke process is a fabulous journey between the designer and the client, who will directly engage to ensure a garment custom crafted with the utmost precision and attention to detail. All pieces are special order, based on your measurements, the selected style is then cut and sewn to create an haute couture quality garment and reflecting any changes to the design you have requested.
After a first e-mail correspondence, the process starts with a 1 hour consultation to discuss budget and occasion, vision, deadline, and any special requests. A formal contract will be drafted for the client. A signature and 50% deposit are required before any construction begins.
* Consultations can be held by appointment via video call or in person via client’s specified preference.
Timeline:
We highly recommend placing your order for a bespoke piece or wedding gown at least 6 – 8 months before your event date to allow time for production and alterations and to avoid rush fees, as all pieces are special ordered.
* Select pieces can be purchased a few months before your event, however a rush fee will be incurred to guarantee enough time for fittings and delivery.
Fittings:
We will contact you once your bespoke piece or wedding gown is complete to schedule your first fitting, which takes place 8 weeks before your event date. Please bring the undergarments and shoes you plan to wear on your event day to ensure the hemlines and bodice are fitted properly. 2 - 3 fittings are typically required. However, more fittings will be scheduled if necessary. Following your final fitting, we will press and pack your bespoke piece or wedding gown for pickup or for shipment. 5 to 7 business days for standard delivery.
Pricing:
Prices vary depending on materials used, length of the piece, and level of details.
Semi-custom starting from $2500, Bespoke starting from $5000.
Semi-custom:
The client chooses from our collections a preferred existing style in a preferred fabric and color. We then schedule appointments to take measurements and appointments to fit the piece. Following your final fitting, we will press and pack your piece or wedding gown for pickup or for shipment. 5 to 7 business days for standard delivery.
Bespoke:
The client shares preferences of existing styles on which Storm will base the design of a one-of-a-kind look that captures their vision in our signature aesthetic. We provide a couple of sketches with fabric swatches, and then schedule appointments to take measurements and appointments to fit the piece. Following your final fitting, we will press and pack your bespoke piece or wedding gown for pickup or for shipment. 5 to 7 business days for standard delivery.
